Why We Love It
The carbon, closed-back option for riders who want maximum support under an aggressive, high-hand aero position. It pairs the carbon weight and stiffness advantage with the deepest wrap in the TriRig range.
Talk Nerdy To Me
Built from genuine carbon fibre rather than ThermoPlast, this cup still comes in at a claimed 365 grams per set despite the extended closed-back wrap behind the elbow, giving TriRig's largest claimed surface area of any production arm cup on the market, exactly what you want when you're camped on the extensions for hours at a time. It mounts the same way as every other cup in the range: two fore-and-aft bolts into threaded bosses with the included M5 and M6 hardware, fitting most aerobars including TriRig's own Alpha One, with optional Wingspan Extenders available for non-standard hole patterns. Check your frame before ordering if you're running a Trek Speed Concept Gen 3 from 2022 onward, since the Open Back SL Carbon variant in this range isn't recommended for it.
