goodr was founded when avid runner Stephen Lease had a realisation—his running gear made him look ridiculous.
With a mix of high-performance yet over-the-top accessories, he wondered why most runners opted for cheap gas station sunglasses instead of overpriced athletic ones. Seeing an opportunity, he set out to create stylish, fun, functional, and affordable shades designed specifically for runners. And so, goodr was born—a brand built on performance, personality, and a touch of flamingo-inspired flair, proving that great running gear doesn’t have to be boring or expensive.
