Why We Love It
226ERS High Fructose Gummy Bar in Banana gives you gel-level carbs in a soft, chewy bar that's easy to eat on the move. Each 60g bar delivers 46g of carbohydrates and 100mg of sodium, so one bar covers most of an hour's fuelling on long rides, trail runs and triathlons. It's caffeine free, vegan and gluten free, and a welcome change of texture when you're tired of gels.
Talk Nerdy To Me
Each bar uses a 1:0.8 ratio of glucose to fructose, built from sucrose, glucose powder and fructose and set with pectin for a soft chew. Glucose and fructose are absorbed through different transporters in the gut, so combining them lets you take in and use more than 60g of carbohydrate per hour with less risk of gut upset. Each bar also adds 100mg of sodium to help replace what you lose in sweat. 226ERS High Fructose Gummy Bars are on the Cologne List, which screens sports nutrition products for substances on the WADA prohibited list.
