This is the same Venator-X racing goggle built with pro swimmer Josh Amberger, but with a photochromatic lens that adjusts itself as the light changes through a swim rather than locking you into one tint. It's built for open water racing where you start in flat morning light and finish under full sun, without needing to swap goggles mid-race. The quick-release double strap adjusts one-handed so you're not fumbling with buckles behind your head.

The photochromatic lens automatically darkens as UV exposure increases and lightens again as conditions dim, useful for a race that starts at dawn or runs through patchy cloud cover where a fixed tint is either too dark or too light for parts of the swim. It sits in the same HORIZON wide-angle curved lens shape as the rest of the Venator-X range for a genuinely wide field of view, finished with UV400-rated polycarbonate and Zone3's factory-applied LUCID anti-fog coating so the lens keeps clarity through a long open water session.
The gasket is the same external, ultra-soft silicone cushion used across the Venator-X line, built to avoid pressure marks around the eye socket over a long swim.
