Each sachet of HydrationX carries 520mg of sodium and 205mg of potassium, the two electrolytes doing most of the work in fluid regulation. It also delivers 56mg of magnesium for muscle function and 45mg of vitamin C for energy metabolism and immune support. The formula sits at 147 mOsmol/L, genuinely hypotonic territory, which the hydration literature on osmolality ties directly to faster fluid absorption than more concentrated drinks. It also includes 20mg of Pycnogenol®, a standardised maritime pine bark extract, added here for its antioxidant effect against the oxidative stress that comes with hard training.
