Each 10.3g serve delivers 2.7g of dry beetroot extract providing 400mg of dietary nitrate, the dose range most commonly used in sports nutrition research. Your body converts nitrate into nitric oxide, a vasodilator that widens blood vessels and can lower the oxygen cost of submaximal exercise, which is why nitrate loading is popular before time trials, triathlons and long runs. The formula is beetroot concentrate and dry beetroot extract, lightly sweetened with sucralose, with 7.3g of carbohydrate and 2.6g of naturally occurring sugars per serve.
